A large log with a list of telemarketing-related numbers is now included in the app. If you are contacted by a verified number such as a sales/market research number, a pop-up will inform you.

With over 1,500,000 downloads of the app (iPhone and Android), you can now download the new version of 180. The app has been adapted to all Android phones (including Android 8+).

Privacy/Permissions Explanation on Phone:

Telephone conversations

Used only to capture incoming and outgoing telephone number and to perform a 180 lookup

Your location

Used to search for services and businesses nearby (nearest show) as well as the "Take me there" function if you want a navigation map for your entrance. In some cases, your position is also used to display relevant ads based on your position.

Your messages

Used exclusively for searches of the sender's phone number.

Your personal information

Reading and writing to your contact list is used to display the contact name in "See who is calling the feature" and to store an entry in the contact list (if the user wants to actively save/update a contact).

Network Communications

Used to check web service communication, for searches on unknown numbers, and to search for companies and people in the application.

Services that cost money

You can choose to call an input from the application. No conversation takes place without your consent.

System Tools

Used to display information with the "See Who's Calling" feature.
